Your role at ZorgDomein

As a driving member of our frontend guild, you are directly contributing to one of our main goals which is to connect, socialize, and collaborate with the UX team. We also host regular knowledge-sharing sessions and attend conferences to stay on top of the latest developments in our field.

As a Senior Frontend Developer you also have a key role in designing, building and maintaining the features in your team and help other teams in the organization realize their objectives. Your role empowers other developers and you actively mentor junior and medior developers to provide technical leadership and guidance. With your help the collaboration and communication within your team will improve, empowering the team to work on making the right impact for our end users. Your key responsibilities are:

• Improving the user-friendliness of our platform for more than 100,000 customers and 20 million transactions per year

• Technically designing, implementing, and enhancing features for our end users

• Considering technical choices, such as our architecture, tools, and processes

• Monitoring, analysing, and optimizing the performance of our platform

• Working in a Scrum team with other developers

• Being one of the driving forces of a guild together with your fellow frontend developers and UX colleagues

• Assisting colleagues with knowledge sharing, code reviews, and pair programming

• Writing automated tests to ensure the quality of the code

• Working based on a CI/CD methodology

About you

• You have at least 8 years of experience as a frontend developer

• You have experience with TypeScript, Angular, HTML, and CSS/SCSS (Knowledge of React is a plus)

• You have at least a Bachelor education working and thinking level

• Design systems hold no secrets for you

• You enjoy collaborating with colleagues of different nationalities; the working language is English

• You are highly proficient in clean code principles, reactive- and modulardevelopment

• You demonstrate an effective problem-solving perspective and approach

• You are able to effectively design new scalable systems or architectures

• You are able to give a holistic analysis of the requirements, translate this to architecture design and lower-level implementation
