HL7 v2 specifications
HL7 v2 messages
Using a care providing interface in ZorgDomein Integrator CE, the care provider receives incoming referrals through HL7v2 messages. The tables below display all message types that are used in ZorgDomein Integrator CE. The first table displays the message types that are currently used. ZorgDomein puts a lot of effort in optimizing the interoperability between systems and releases improved interfaces on a regular basis. New functionalities in the ZorgDomein platform can thus be supported in the HL7v2 messages that we send. Occasionally, this means that older message are being deprecated (second table).

A care providing interface receives and sends HL7 messages over an IPsec VPN connection using the MLLP protocol. The messages are delivered at a specific IP address and port number. The IP address and port number are determined by the XIS supplier or client and are communicated to ZorgDomein.
